The SJ-200 as Gibson built it in the late thirties, before the switch to maple: rosewood back and sides, a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top with hot hide glue bracing, and ebony for the board and moustache bridge.
A two-piece maple neck with a rounded D profile, crown inlays, a bound fingerboard, the dotted double-border pickguard and Grover Imperial tuners. Vintage Sunburst in thin VOS nitro, in a period-correct case. No pickup.
