1956 was the only full year the Les Paul had P-90s together with the adjustable ABR-1 bridge, the combination that let it intonate and sustain properly. This reissue follows that year.
A plain maple top on a one-piece mahogany back, no weight relief, a 1950s Chunky D neck on a rosewood board with historic narrow-tall frets, two P-90s, an ABR-1, aluminum stop bar and Kluson single-ring tuners. Double Gold VOS, in a Lifton reissue 5-latch case.
