The Hummingbird arrived in 1960 as Gibson's first square-shoulder acoustic. This reissue follows those first guitars with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a fixed bridge and the cast Hummingbird pickguard.
A rounded neck on a rosewood board with parallelogram inlays and Gotoh keystone tuners. Heritage Cherry Sunburst in Gibson's thin finish with a hand-rubbed VOS process, in a period-correct case. No pickup.
