Why this one made the wall

The PRS Tekton Floyd pairs a solid alder body with a bolt-on maple neck left natural, an ebony fingerboard and offset dot inlays. The neck is PRS's thin Modern "D" carve on a 16" radius with stainless steel jumbo frets and a 25.5" scale.

This one is finished in Pearl Black with smoked black hardware throughout. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series with a 16" radius to match the fretboard and a locking nut handle the vibrato work, which is why it uses PRS Phase III non-locking tuners. PRS Stylus humbuckers sit in the treble and bass positions, voiced to stay defined under gain and into a modeller. Controls are volume, push/pull tone for split-coil sounds and a 3-way blade switch, and it ships in a PRS Premium Gig Bag.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses our bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.
