Under it, the Astro-20 is the most capable amp Soldano builds at this size. Three channels rather than the SLO's two, twenty watts from a pair of 6V6s, four 12AX7s in front of them, and four Galaxy voicings behind them: Green on the clean, with Blue, Purple and Red assignable to the overdrive side, so the range on tap is far wider than the control panel suggests. Onboard IRs and a four-button MIDI footswitch mean the whole thing can be saved and recalled by preset, which is the part that makes it a studio amp as much as a stage one.
