Who this one is for

The 4x12 Cabinet is Suhr's closed-back 4x12, 30" tall by 29.75" wide and 14" deep, loaded with four Celestion G12M Greenbacks or four Celestion Vintage 30s. Suhr intends it for its high-powered heads.

The two loads carry different ratings: 100 watts with Greenbacks and 240 watts with Vintage 30s, both at 8 ohms. For a 100-watt head run hard, the Vintage 30 load has the larger margin on paper, and that is the one we would pick for it. The Greenback load suits a player who has settled on that speaker and runs a head within its rating.

On the look, the standard versions pair black tolex and a black grill with a silver metal logo or a round gold logo. Two Greenback versions add gold piping, one with a gold grill and one with a black grill, and there is an unloaded version with the silver logo. For two Greenbacks over two Vintage 30s in the same size of cab, look at the PT100 4x12.

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
