The Andy Wood Signature Modern T is built on Suhr's Modern T body in swamp ash, with a roasted maple neck carved to the thin Modern Elliptical profile, .780" to .830", on a flat 16" radius with jumbo stainless steel frets. Every version carries Andy Wood's signature laser engraved on the headstock and Suhr locking tuners.
Most finishes come as HH or SS; the 10th anniversary pair is HH only. HH guitars carry Suhr Woodbucker humbuckers with a 2-post tremolo, and most add a push/pull on the tone knob that puts the bridge pickup in parallel. SS guitars carry Woodshed single coils. Stainless frets wear far more slowly than nickel.
The finishes fall into four groups. Iron Red, War Black and Whiskey Barrel have a body torched by hand before the satin goes on, so you can feel the grain through the finish. AW Silver is gloss with a black satin pickguard. Rosso Corsa and Arancio Orange mark the model's 10th anniversary with an ebony fingerboard, a carbon fibre pickguard, black-covered Woodbuckers and black hardware.
