Why this one made the wall

Andy Wood's signature Modern T in War Black, serial 95295. The swamp ash body is torched by hand before the satin finish goes on, so the grain shows through the black and you can feel it under your arm. It pairs two Suhr Woodbucker humbuckers with a recessed Suhr 2-post tremolo, and Suhr locking tuners on the headstock.

Neck and fingerboard are both roasted maple, carved to Suhr's Modern Elliptical profile at .780" to .830", on a 16" radius with jumbo stainless steel frets. It suits a player who likes a thin neck and a flat board to bend on. Andy's signature is laser engraved on the headstock.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses our bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.
