Who this one is for

The Discovery is an all-analog delay designed by Kevin Suhr, built on four reissued MN3005 bucket-brigade chips, with digital control laid over the top. The repeats stay analog, while every setting can be stored in one of 127 presets and recalled from the footswitches.

Delay time runs from 40ms to 1100ms and stretches to 17ms-2000ms and beyond with the up/down and division buttons. Tap tempo averages your last four taps, with quarter, dotted-eighth, eighth-note triplet, eighth and sixteenth subdivisions. Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut knobs set where the repeats sit, from thick and full to a thin, dub-style echo, and the modulation section adds speed, depth and a choice of triangle, sine or square waves. Every knob maps to an expression pedal with its own sweep, saved per preset, and 5-pin MIDI In and Out/Thru lets it send program changes to the rest of the board.

It comes two ways, with the universal power supply or as the pedal alone. The Dark Discovery is the same circuit in a black Cerakote finish.

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
