Our take

Who this one is for

The PT100 2x12 is the closed-back 2x12 Suhr matches to the PT100 amplifier, loaded with two Celestion G12H75 Creambacks and rated at 150 watts into 8 ohms. It is covered in Black Taurus tolex with a black grill, the same covering as the rest of the PT range, and comes with a slip cover.

It shares its 24" by 28.88" by 12" shell with the 2x12 Deep, and the Creamback load gives it the highest power rating of the Suhr 2x12s in this run. That makes it the natural partner for a PT100 Signature Edition Head when a 4x12 is more cab than the room or the car can take.

For the full-size version of the pairing, look at the PT100 4x12, with two Greenbacks over two Vintage 30s. The 2x12 Deep is the same shell with Warehouse Veteran 30s or Vintage 30s.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
