Why this one made the wall

The GS Mini is Taylor's scaled-down Grand Symphony, and the Koa Plus sits at the top of that family: a solid Hawaiian koa top over layered koa back and sides, finished matte so the grain is the thing you notice rather than the shine.

Koa starts bright and fills in underneath as it gets played, which suits the short 23-1/2" scale. Ebony board and bridge, tropical mahogany neck, Taylor nickel tuners at 18:1, and Expression System 2 electronics so it plugs in without a fight.

The Plus specification ships in Taylor's AeroCase rather than a gig bag.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

What if it is not right when it arrives?

You have 48 hours from the moment it arrives to decide. Email shop@lauzonmusic.com inside that window and we will authorize the return. Nothing comes back unauthorized.
