Anderson Guitarworks was born out of Tom’s garage, 40 years ago in 1984, as a pickup and guitar parts (necks and bodies) business. After making pickups, guitar bodies, and necks for other builders, we started building complete guitars and moved into a small shop in 1985.

Angel Player - was initially created as the “Player’s” Angel—a 24 fret guitar with an all tone-wood body for the working guitar player who’s practical focus is all about the best tone and handling possible. But, of course, Angel Player has now also become sought after for its refined 24-fret vintage good looks.

Questions we get

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

What if it is not right when it arrives?

You have 48 hours from the moment it arrives to decide. Email shop@lauzonmusic.com inside that window and we will authorize the return. Nothing comes back unauthorized.
