This is the original Apollo Twin USB, Universal Audio's Windows desktop interface with a UAD-2 DUO processor built in. UA has since replaced it with the Apollo Twin X USB and still supports this model.
The DUO chip runs UAD plug-ins in realtime, so you can track through them as you record. Unison preamp technology on the two mic/line inputs and the front Hi-Z input lets UA's preamp and amp emulations change how the input stage itself behaves. Conversion is 24-bit at up to 192 kHz, and an optical input takes ADAT or S/PDIF to add channels.
It connects over USB 3 and runs on Windows only: current UA requirements list Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 with a built-in USB 3 port.
