The Sphere DLX is Universal Audio's modelling microphone: a large-diaphragm condenser with dual gold-sputtered diaphragms that records through the included Sphere Mic Collection plug-in, which carries 38 modelled ribbon, condenser and dynamic mics.
Because the mic records both capsules, the model, the polar pattern and the off-axis character can all be changed after the take. Dual Mode blends any two models from the one microphone, and the dual-capsule design will capture a source in stereo. Auditioning works with any interface and DAW; on an Apollo it runs in realtime while you track.
It ships with the shockmount, a mic stand mount, the 25' dual-output cable and a carrying case.
