Gavilan guitars at Lauzon Music
What Gavilan is known for
Levi Perry spent almost two decades in the guitar business and became a Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop before starting Gavilan. He designs and builds every guitar himself. The Miramonte on our wall is his offset: an alder body, a neck joint carved away so the top frets are easy to reach, and a Lollar '63 Jazzmaster and J90 pair.
Buying a Gavilan from us
Gavilan sells only through its dealers, and Lauzon Music is one of them. Every Gavilan leaves our bench set up and ships insured, free over $200 across Canada and the US, with no duty on US orders.
Questions
Gavilan Guitars questions, answered
Where are Gavilan guitars made?

What does Gavilan mean?
Gavilan is Spanish for hawk. It is also the name of Levi Perry's childhood home in California.
What pickups are in the Gavilan Miramonte?
The one on our wall has a Lollar pair: a '63 Jazzmaster at the neck and a J90 at the bridge, which gives you the wide, glassy neck sound an offset is bought for with a P-90 style pickup at the bridge.
