What Jackson is known for
Jackson grew out of Charvel's Guitar Repair in Glendora, California, which its builders took over in 1978, and neck-through-body construction has been a Jackson hallmark since 1980. The Rhoads shape came out of designs Randy Rhoads worked through with the shop at the end of that year. The guitars are built for hard rock and metal: through-body maple necks, compound radius fingerboards, jumbo frets and, on many models, a locking tremolo.

Every Jackson leaves our bench set up and ships insured, free over $200 across Canada and the US, with no duty on US orders. Anything we don't have on the wall, in any current Jackson model and finish, we can order in through the Catalogue, paid in full or with a 25% deposit.

Both are built for fast, high-gain playing in the Dinky, Rhoads and Soloist shapes. The American Series is made in Corona, California, with through-body maple necks and stainless steel frets. The MJ Series is made in Japan and revives the Japanese-built Jacksons of the early '90s.
