Provenance

Why this one made the wall

#527

Signature Collection guitars are created from rare materials and offer the legendary tone that D’Pergo is known for, with amazing resonance and transparent organic tone. Limited in production, there are fewer Signature collection instruments in existence than original vintage ’54’s.

This collection is defined by ultra lightweight, rare, recovered materials combined with a truss rod less design. Meticulously handcrafted with a passion for detail, these instruments have tonal qualities more comparable with a grand piano or fine violin than an electric guitar. They feature handmade D'Pergo parts and components throughout and are easily distinguished by their refined contouring, warm, soft edges, and ultra smooth hand-shaped fretwork.

Our unique recipes for achieving legendary tone revolve around our materials that are harvested, dried and treated with our own proprietary procedures. Our handmade tone-centered components reveal textures and nuances usually only associated with fine acoustic instruments. These touch sensitive instruments are intended for the recording guitarist and those with ultra discerning ears who are serious about their sound. The Signature Collection instruments are created without limitation or compromise.

Lauzon Music is the #1 trusted source for musicians.

Frequently asked

Questions we get

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

Ian's work is described on Repairs and tuning.

What if it is not right when it arrives?

You have 48 hours from the moment it arrives to decide. Email shop@lauzonmusic.com inside that window and we will authorize the return. Nothing comes back unauthorized.

Exchange it for something else and there is no restocking fee, though you cover the shipping on the instrument going back. On a straight refund it is 10% plus the actual shipping both ways.

The full terms are on Shipping and returns.

Can I pay for it over time?

Canadian buyers can pay over time with PayPlan by RBC, chosen as the payment method at checkout. The exact terms come from RBC and are shown to you before you agree to anything.

Financing never changes the price of the guitar. More on Financing.
