Fender rebuilt the Telecaster's bridge for this series. The new 3-saddle plate loads strings through the body or from the top, and Fender says you can use that to set the tension and tone of each string. The compensated brass bullet saddles are slotted so the strings stay put, and their shape improves intonation, the old complaint about three-saddle Teles.
Two V-Mod III Tele single-coils with magnets Fender tuned for this model, and a push-push tone control that runs them in series for a thicker, louder neck-and-bridge sound. A treble bleed holds the top end as you turn down.
Deep "C" neck with rolled edges, 9.5" radius, 22 narrow-tall frets and a reshaped heel. Eleven finishes. Natural, Aged Cherry Burst and Butterscotch Blonde are on ash, the Tele's original body wood; the rest are alder.
If you want the Tele with a third voice, the Hotshot Telecaster adds a Strat single-coil in the middle.
