Who this one is for

The American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS pairs a Haymaker Humbucker in the bridge with two Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups in the middle and neck. The S-1 switch on the volume splits the Haymaker, so the bridge position goes from humbucker to single-coil without touching the 5-way blade. One tone covers the neck and middle, the other the bridge.

The quartersawn maple neck has the flatter Modern "D" profile and a 10" to 14" compound radius, rounder near the nut for chords and flatter up high so bends don't fret out. Rolled edges, Luminlay side dots, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and Ultra contours with a sculpted heel for the upper frets. The 2-Point American Ultra Synchronized Tremolo has polished stainless steel block saddles, a cold rolled steel block and a pop-in arm, with locking short-post tuners.

For three single-coils, look at the American Ultra II Stratocaster. For two Haymakers on a hardtail, the American Ultra II Meteora. For a vintage-style HSS, the American Professional Classic Stratocaster HSS.

Texas Tea, Noble Blue and Ultraburst come with an ebony board, Sinister Red and Solar Flare with quartersawn maple.

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. After you order, we check with the supplier and email you an ETA. If it changes, we let you know, and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
