Who this one is for

The '60s Custom Telecaster look, top-bound alder body with white binding, a rosewood board with clay dots and a 3-ply mint green pickguard, finished in a aged Heirloom nitrocellulose lacquer. Two Pure Vintage '63 single-coils give it the rounder early '60s Tele voice.

The playability is modern. A quartersawn maple Modern "D" neck with rolled edges, a 10" to 14" compound radius, 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets and a tapered heel that makes the upper frets easy to reach. Six chromed brass saddles let you set intonation string by string, and the S-1 switch runs the pickups in series in any position for more output and body.

For a vintage neck and the same '63 pickups, look at the American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster, with its 7.25" radius "C" neck and three steel barrel saddles. Offered in 3-Color Sunburst and Lake Placid Blue, both with a rosewood fingerboard.

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. After you order, we check with the supplier and email you an ETA. If it changes, we let you know, and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
