The Paisley and Blue Flower Teles came out of the late '60s, and the Pink Paisley found its most famous home with James Burton rather than with the flower children. The Vintage Custom '68 Telecaster NOS recreates both on a two-piece select alder body, with lacquer over a WLS undercoat, no aging and a clear pickguard over the pattern.
The rift sawn maple neck has a '60s Oval "C" carve and a round-laminated rift sawn maple fingerboard with a 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius and medium vintage frets. Two Custom Shop Hand-Wound '67 Single-Coil Tele pickups, the neck with a nickel cover and the bridge uncovered, run through the standard three positions. The bridge is a 3-saddle '67 Telecaster with threaded steel saddles, and the tuners are Schaller "F".
For a plainer guitar from the same year, look at the Vintage Custom 1968 Telecaster Custom Time Capsule in Aged Dakota Red. The 1969 Telecaster NOS is the following year, unaged, with a 9.5" radius.
It comes in Pink Paisley and Blue Flower.
The photos show one example. Wood grain and aging vary from guitar to guitar, so the one built for you will differ in the details.
