Who this one is for

Tash Sultana went from busking in Melbourne to sold-out shows building songs out of layered loops, and their Stratocaster is set up for that kind of range. Transparent Cherry over alder with a matching painted headstock, all-gold hardware, an aged white pearl pickguard and a custom skull neck plate.

The pickups are HSS: a Double Tap humbucker at the bridge and two Yosemite single-coils in the middle and neck. Pull the tone knob and the humbucker splits to a single coil, so you get the full five-way range of a single-coil Strat or a humbucker for heavier parts. The modern "C" neck has a satin back, a 9.5" maple fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, with a vintage-style synchronized tremolo.

For an HSS Strat built in the USA, look at the American Professional Classic Stratocaster HSS. The Tash Sultana comes strung with .009s, with a gig bag.

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. After you order, we check with the supplier and email you an ETA. If it changes, we let you know, and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
