Tom DeLonge's Starcaster is an offset semi-hollow with a centre block, built from laminated maple and stripped to the essentials: one Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker and one volume knob. A treble bleed circuit keeps the top end from dulling as you roll the volume back, so you can clean up without losing clarity.
The roasted maple neck has a modern "C" carve with a 12" rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, a flatter radius that suits low action. An adjustable bridge with a stop tailpiece and locking tuners keep things stable, and his artwork appears on the headstock back and the neck plate.
His solid-body option is the Tom DeLonge Stratocaster, with an Invader humbucker and a hardtail. The Starcaster comes in Satin Shoreline Gold, Satin Surf Green, Satin Shell Pink or Satin Olympic White, with chrome or black hardware depending on the finish.
