Two fully independent channels, overdrive and boost, with an Order toggle that puts the boost either side of the drive. That is the part people miss about the FD3: it is two pedals in one enclosure rather than a drive with a level lift.
The clipping toggle runs 90s for symmetrical clipping with the midrange that made the earlier Fulldrives, Wide Asym for more top and bottom with even-order harmonics, and Comp-Cut for straight opamp overdrive with no diodes in the way.
The Dynamics knob is a germanium diode limiter, which changes the feel under the pick and holds back transient spikes before they hit the front of the amp.
