Who this one is for

The 00-18 Joe Bonamassa is a Nazareth-built 00-14 fret guitar whose spruce top reproduces the worn look of Bonamassa's pre-war 1937 00-18, in a gloss 1937 Joe Bonamassa Sunburst. Back, sides and neck are genuine mahogany, and the X-bracing is GE-Scalloped spruce.

The neck is a GE Modified Low Oval with a Standard Taper, a 1 3/4'' nut and a 24.9" scale, on an ebony board with abalone Old Style 18 inlays. Faux tortoise binding and endpiece, a black and maple fiber multi-stripe top inlay and a Guatemalan rosewood headplate with an Authentic Style script overlay set it apart from the standard 00-18. The GE Modern Belly bridge takes a long drop-in bone saddle at 2 5/16'' string spacing, wider than the 2 5/32'' on the 00-18, which gives the picking hand a little more room.

For the same burst on a Road Series acoustic-electric, look at the 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa. The 00-18 has an Aging Toner top, black binding and the High-Performance Taper.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
