The 000-15SM is the all-mahogany 000 with a 12-fret neck and a slotted headstock. Meeting the body at the 12th fret moves the bridge toward the centre of the lower bout, and the slotted head carries Golden Age Bright Nickel side-mount tuners. The top, back and sides are solid mahogany in satin Dark Mahogany over non-scalloped spruce X braces, built in Nazareth.
The Modified Low Oval neck has a Standard Taper on a 25.4" scale, and its 1 3/4'' nut is wider than the 1 11/16'' on the 000-15M, which gives fingerpickers more room. East Indian rosewood board with abalone diamonds and squares, bone nut, compensated bone saddle and ebony pins.
For the 14-fret version with a solid headstock, look at the 000-15M.
