The 212ce is a cutaway Grand Concert with a torrefied spruce top over layered walnut back and sides, X bracing and a 24-7/8" scale. The shorter scale makes it a little easier to fret and the compact body sits close, so fingerstyle players get the most from it, though it has the volume for a pick or strumming as well. The neck is Neo-Tropical Mahogany on a West African Crelicam ebony board, with white binding, a tortoise pickguard and Expression System 2.
For the same shape in gloss with black binding and Taylor nickel tuners, look at the 212ce Plus. The 112ce is the 100 Series Grand Concert, and the 222ce-K DLX is the Grand Concert in Hawaiian koa with gold tuners.
