The 222ce-K DLX is a cutaway Grand Concert in Hawaiian koa from top to back: a solid koa top over layered koa back and sides, in full-body gloss with a Shaded Edgeburst. Taylor voices it with a punchy, woody midrange and clear highs, and notes that the koa top warms up as it ages.
The compact body and 24-7/8" scale make it an easy guitar to play for strumming, flatpicking or fingerstyle. It has X bracing, a Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck, faux pearl Sentinel inlays on a West African Crelicam ebony board, Taylor gold tuners and Expression System 2, and it comes in a hardshell case.
The 224ce-K DLX is the same koa build and Deluxe trim on a Grand Auditorium with a 25-1/2" scale. The 212ce is the 200 Series Grand Concert with a spruce top.
