Who this one is for

The Gold Label 510e is Taylor's square-shoulder Dreadnought in a deeper body, with Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides, a torrefied Sitka spruce top and fanned V-Class bracing. Taylor built it for power and projection with a warm midrange, the fundamental out front and the overtones kept in hand.

The long-tenon Action Control Neck lets you reset string height through the soundhole in a few minutes, and the electronics are an LR Baggs Element VTC. The trim is traditional: cream binding and Crest inlays on a Crelicam ebony board, a firestripe pickguard, nickel tuners, a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge and the Gold Label Crown peghead, with gloss over the whole body.

This is the mahogany Dreadnought of the collection. The Gold Label 810e uses the same deep Dreadnought body in Honduran rosewood and is built with hot hide glue. The Trey Hensley Gold Label 510e is a version of this guitar with an LR Baggs Anthem SL, an Antique Blonde top and nickel bronze mediums. Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
