Who this one is for

The Trey Hensley Gold Label 510e is a square-shoulder Dreadnought that Taylor designed in partnership with Trey Hensley, with Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides, a torrefied Sitka spruce top and fanned V-Class bracing. Taylor voices it for a focused, punchy midrange and woody warmth, with the overtones under control.

Next to the standard Gold Label 510e, the electronics are an LR Baggs Anthem SL in place of the Element VTC, and the strings are D'Addario Nickel Bronze Mediums (.013 to .056), a heavier set than the lights used across the rest of the collection. The top is Antique Blonde and the pickguard is ivoroid and tortoise without engraving.

The rest follows the Gold Label pattern: the Action Control Neck, nickel tuners, cream binding with black, white and black edge trim, Crest inlays on Crelicam ebony, a Honduran rosewood bridge with bone pins and gloss over the whole guitar.

Choose it over the standard 510e for the Antique Blonde top and the Anthem SL, or if you already string your Dreadnoughts with mediums.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
