The Imperial MKII is a 20-watt, single-12 combo with two footswitchable channels. Rhythm is voiced after a mid-'60s blackface amp, with Volume, Treble and Bass. Lead is voiced after a '50s tweed, with Volume, Tone and a Mid-Bite control that tightens the low end and adds cut. A pair of 6V6s runs cathode biased with no negative feedback, and there's tube-driven spring reverb and bias-modulated tremolo.
The built-in Ironman II attenuator has a Rhythm Channel Bypass switch. With it on, the attenuator switches itself out whenever you select the Rhythm channel, so you can turn the Lead channel down to room volume while the clean channel stays at full output. An HF Compensation control sets how much top end comes through when the attenuator is working.
The Sky King is the 35-watt version, with 6L6s, a pentode/ultra-linear switch and an attenuator on each channel. If you'd rather choose your own speaker, the Imperial MKII Head is this amp without the cabinet.
