The Ironman II Mini is a 30-watt reactive power attenuator in a pedal you can put on your board. It uses the same reactive load and transformer-coupled design as the 100-watt Ironman II, so the amp runs at full output and only part of that reaches the speaker.
Six attenuation steps and a Hi/Lo range switch give 18 levels. The Solo footswitch on the face drops the attenuation by 3dB or 6dB for a louder solo level, and a three-position Presence switch takes some brightness off. A line out at -10dBu feeds an interface or an IR loader for direct recording.
It's rated for amps up to 30 watts RMS at 8 ohms, in and out. For a bigger amp, a 4 or 16 ohm load, a cab-simulated XLR out or silent dummy-load use, look at the Ironman II.
