Who this one is for

The GR-HG-66T is Boucher's 000 with 12 frets to the body, built in the Grande Reserve spec: 3A torrefied flamed maple back and sides and a Gold Touch top, which is Boucher's torrefied AAAA Adirondack red spruce. Adirondack red spruce grows in the region around Boucher's Berthier-sur-Mer shop, and Boucher roasts it to age the top. A slotted headstock with gold Gotoh open gear tuners and diamond markers on the board complete it. The maple's figure varies guitar to guitar, so the photos show one example.

Joining the neck at the 12th fret puts the bridge nearer the centre of the lower bout. For the 12-fret Parlor in the same maple, look at the GR-HG-64T. The GR-HG-166T is this 000 in 5A maple, and the GR-SG-61T brings 3A maple to the 14-fret OM Hybrid.

Option packs from Boucher add a burst top, a pickup, a master grade top or extra trim, and you'll find them listed below.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
