The 0002H puts East Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top on Collings' 12-fret 000 body. It shares the OM's 15" width and 4" depth over a longer body, which Collings credits with more bass and overall volume. Joining the neck at the 12th fret moves the pyramid bridge toward the centre of the lower bout.
This is the 2H trim: ivoroid binding with herringbone purfling, a zipper backstrip, an ivoroid and tortoise rosette, and abalone short diamonds and squares set in ebony. The slotted peghead wears a stained exotic ebony veneer and nickel Waverly tuners. A 1 13/16" bone nut on the modified V neck gives fingerstyle players room, with a 25 1/2" scale.
For this body in mahogany, look at the 0001. The 0003 adds a bound fingerboard and peghead with an abalone rosette, and the OM2H is the shorter OM body in rosewood and herringbone. Collings' options for tops, finishes, trim, inlays and more follow below.
