The Parlor Deluxe T is the most dressed of Collings' Traditional Series parlors: East Indian rosewood under a Sitka spruce top, with multi-colour wood mosaic in the purflings, the rosette and the backstrip. The fingerboard and slotted peghead are both bound in ivoroid, and the ebony board is left without inlay so the mosaic carries the look.
The body is Collings' long, narrow 12-fret parlor, 12 1/4" wide, with the petite pyramid bridge sitting nearer the centre of the lower bout. The 24 7/16" scale keeps string tension down, the 1 3/4" nut leaves room for fingerpicking, and the engraved bronze Waverly 3-on-a-plate tuners wear ivoroid buttons. It is braced with Collings' custom pre-war scalloped X and finished in ultra-thin nitro.
