The 02H is the 14-fret 0 in East Indian rosewood under a Sitka spruce top, one of the smallest bodies Collings builds at 13 7/16" wide and 4" deep. Collings pitches it two ways, as a guitar to travel with and as a compact take on an OM, and says it gives up some of the bigger bodies' low end for a round, punchy voice with good volume and headroom.
The 2H trim is ivoroid binding with herringbone purfling, abalone diamonds and squares on an ebony board, and a zipper backstrip. The neck is a modified V with a 1 11/16" bone nut and a 24 7/8" scale, and the top is braced with a pre-war scalloped X.
The 02H T is the Traditional Series version, the 02H 12-Fret moves the neck joint to the 12th fret on a longer body, and the 03 adds a bound board and peghead with an abalone rosette. Collings' options for tops, finishes, trim and inlays follow below.
