Our take

Who this one is for

The 360 Baritone is Collings' offset solid body stretched to a 27 1/2" scale, with a level-top ash body, a maple neck and a pair of custom Lollar P90s with Alnico pole pieces. Strung .014" to .068", it covers the baritone register with a string tension and feel Collings designed to sit comfortably under the hands of a regular electric player.

A Mastery offset bridge and Mastery offset vibrato keep the long scale stable. The rosewood board has a 12" radius and ivoroid long dots, the neck sets in with an extra long mortise and tenon, and the wiring is 50s style through CTS pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow caps. Collings says the P90s bring out the woody character of the baritone voice along with the focus and punch of the 360 body.

For P90s on a standard scale, look at the 290 and 290 DC. Pickguard colours, pickup covers, finishes and the rest of Collings' options are listed below.

The photo shows one example build.

Options for this model include:

Nonstandard, premium and metallic finishes

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
