The C10 Deluxe takes Collings' parlor body, 14 3/4" wide with a narrow waist and a small upper bout, and builds it in East Indian rosewood under a Sitka spruce top. The Deluxe trim runs ivoroid binding with five-ply black and white purfling around the body, then binds the ebony fingerboard and the Haircut peghead in ivoroid as well, with a maple and rosewood backstrip down the centre of the back.
Collings notes the C10 is one of its easiest acoustics for an electric player to pick up, thanks to the rounded C-shape neck. That neck sits on a 25 1/2" scale with a 1 11/16" bone nut and a 14" to 26" compound radius, and its small oval heel suits the optional cutaway for reaching the upper frets.
