The Eastside LC Deluxe takes Collings' full-depth jazz archtop and binds it throughout. Non-grained ivoroid runs around the body, the fingerboard, the peghead, the S-holes and the ebony pickguard, and the peghead takes the Deluxe Flared Haircut outline with custom ebony top hat knobs below. Underneath it is the Eastside LC: fully hollow and parallel-braced in maple laminate, 16" across the lower bout and 2 1/2" deep.
A single Lollar Charlie Christian pickup sits at the neck, with an adjustable ebony bridge and ebony tailpiece. Collings designed the Eastside for the professional jazz player and voices it full and warm. The Honduran mahogany neck has a 1 11/16" nut and a 24 7/8" scale, and the guitar comes strung with D'Addario 12s with a wound third.
The Eastside LC is the same body and electronics with unbound board, peghead and S-holes. For a thinner 15" body, look at the Eastside Jazz LC. Collings' options for tops, finishes, trim and inlays follow below.
