The American Professional Precision Bass has a reshaped neck for 2026: a Modified 1963 "C" that Fender made slightly thicker at the first fret and slimmer at the 12th, on a sculpted heel for the upper frets.
One V-Mod III split-coil Precision Bass pickup with master volume and tone. The new HiMass Pro bridge has brass saddles and a brass backstop, and loads strings through the body or from the top.
Lightweight vintage-style tuners with tapered shafts, a 1.625" nut, 34" scale and 20 narrow-tall frets. Eight finishes; Natural and Aged Cherry Burst are ash with maple boards, the rest alder.
The Jazz Bass is the two-pickup alternative with a slimmer neck, and the Precision Bass V adds a low B.
