Geddy Lee has played a Jazz Bass through decades of Rush records and tours, and this signature model follows his instrument: an alder body in Black, with a thin "C" one-piece maple neck and a maple fingerboard with black binding and black block inlays.
The neck is slim, with a 1.5" nut, a 9.5" radius and 20 medium jumbo frets, which makes fast lines across the strings easy. Two American Vintage Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups run through the classic volume, volume and master tone layout, and the custom Geddy Lee High Mass Bridge anchors the strings.
For the American-made version, compare the USA Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. For another rock artist's Jazz Bass with a rosewood board, look at the Adam Clayton Jazz Bass.
