The Little Sister Combo is a single-channel, 20-watt 1x12 built on Friedman's 40-watt Twin Sister, with a 16 ohm Celestion G12M-65 Creamback, two EL84s and three 12AX7s. It is cathode biased and voiced for the classic rock tone of British tube amps from the 60s and 70s, from sparkling cleans to vintage crunch, with blues, rock and country all in reach from the gain and master.
Below the master and gain is a full Bass, Middle and Treble EQ, plus two switches: the S-Switch for gain structure and the B-Switch for Bright or Tight. The ultra-transparent series effects loop handles delays, reverbs and rack units, and the front end is designed for boosts, overdrives, phasers, flangers, tremolos and wahs. Transformers and capacitors are custom made, the cabinet is tongue and groove Baltic Birch, and Friedman assembles it in Los Angeles with a limited lifetime warranty.
The Pink Taco V2 Combo shares this cabinet, speaker and tube complement but chases BE-style gain. The Runt-20 Combo has two channels and a silent-recording internal load. If you already have a cab, the Little Sister Head is the same amp at 22 lbs.
