The Smallbox 1x12 Combo is the 50-watt Smallbox in a tongue and groove Baltic Birch cabinet with a 16 ohm Celestion G12H Redback. Two EL34s and three 12AX7s drive two channels: a plexi channel that runs from clean to a full roar and cleans up off the guitar's volume knob, and Friedman's modern high-gain channel.
Each channel gets its own gain and master over a shared Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence. The clean channel has a 3-position Bright switch, the footswitch is a single button with an LED, and there is a line out with level control and a series effects loop for delays and rack gear.
The Smallbox Head is the same amp at 33.5 lbs. for players who already own a cabinet. The combo comes in at 52.5 lbs. with its speaker, the same footprint as the Dirty Shirley and Twin Sister combos, and it is the one of the three that pairs a plexi channel with a dedicated high-gain channel.
