Why this one made the wall

Champagne sparkle over a hollow Les Paul Custom body, with f-holes, white multi-ply binding and gold hardware from end to end. A metalflake finish on a Custom is already unusual; putting it on a hollowbody with a gold Bigsby is a combination that essentially does not exist outside a one-off order.

Two gold-covered humbuckers, black pickguard, ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays and the split diamond in the headstock. Gold Bigsby B7, gold tuners with pearloid buttons.

The sparkle is the thing you will notice from across a room, but the f-holes are what changes how it plays. There is air behind the top, which takes some of the density out of a Custom and gives the whole guitar a looser response than the solid version.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.
