Why this one made the wall

Slow Iced Tea is the Murphy Lab finish for people who have looked at a lot of real bursts. It is the colour a sunburst goes when the red has faded unevenly over decades rather than been removed altogether: still amber and brown at the edges, still some warmth left in the middle, none of the orange that gives a young burst away.

Heavy Aged, so the lacquer is checked throughout and the hardware has been taken well past new.

A '59 Les Paul Standard underneath, which is the one everything else is measured against. Solid mahogany with a maple top, mahogany neck, Indian rosewood board with cellulose trapezoid inlays, 24.75" scale. Unpotted Custombucker Alnico IIIs, CTS 500K audio taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors, ABR-1 and lightweight aluminium stopbar, Kluson tuners.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

What if it is not right when it arrives?

You have 48 hours from the moment it arrives to decide. Email shop@lauzonmusic.com inside that window and we will authorize the return. Nothing comes back unauthorized.
