Why this one made the wall

The 00L-16E is the small-bodied end of the refreshed 16 Series, a sloped-shoulder 00 with a gloss spruce top in 1935 Burst over solid mahogany back and sides. Mahogany gives it punchy midrange, strong treble response and a controlled low end, which is what keeps a guitar this size sitting cleanly in a mix rather than fighting for room in it. Fingerpickers and songwriters are the obvious audience.

The short 24.9" scale takes tension off the strings and makes a difference under the left hand. Scalloped 1/4" X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck with the High-Performance Taper and a 1 3/4" nut, ebony fingerboard and bridge with 1955 Style 18 inlays in mother of pearl. Antique white binding, East Indian rosewood headplate, nickel open-gear tuners with butterbean knobs. L.R. Baggs Element electronics, Plek'd at the factory, softshell case included.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.
