The Badger 30 is the Badger head on a pair of EL34s with a solid state rectifier, rated at about 25 watts. It is a single-channel, cathode-biased amp, so power tubes can be changed without a bias adjustment, and it answers the guitar's volume control and the way you dig in.
Power Scaling sets the voltage to the output section and the Drive control tracks it, taking the amp down as far as 1 watt while it keeps the feel of a head run flat out. A footswitchable MOSFET Boost in the preamp opens up cleaner and dirtier settings, and the tube-driven, buffered effects loop takes pedals or line level rack gear.
It is the only EL34 Badger. The Badger 18 Head and Badger 35 Head both run EL84s, the 18 on a 5Y3GT tube rectifier at about 15 watts and the 35 with four of them at about 30. Suhr's matching cabinet is the Badger 1x12 Cabinet, loaded with a Warehouse Veteran 30.
