The Badger 35 is the most powerful Badger, with four EL84s on a solid state rectifier for about 30 watts. Like the others it is a single-channel, cathode-biased head, so power tubes can be changed without a bias adjustment, and it follows the guitar's volume control and how hard you play.
Power Scaling sets the voltage to the output section and the Drive control tracks it, taking the amp down as far as 1 watt while it keeps the feel of a head run flat out. The preamp carries a high-voltage cascaded MOSFET Boost for cleaner and dirtier settings, and the tube-driven, buffered effects loop takes pedals or line level rack gear.
For the same EL84 family at about 15 watts on a 5Y3GT tube rectifier, look at the Badger 18 Head. The Badger 30 Head swaps to a pair of EL34s. Suhr's matching cabinet is the Badger 1x12 Cabinet, loaded with a Warehouse Veteran 30.
