The ISO Line Out takes a transformer-isolated, line-level signal from any guitar amp's speaker output. The usual job is feeding an effects processor: its wet-only output then goes to a second amp's effects return or a power amp and speakers, for a dry/wet or wet/dry/wet rig built around the sound of the main amp.
It works alongside the speaker, so the amp needs a cabinet or a suitable load connected whenever it is on, and it carries no cabinet emulation. Two Speaker Thru jacks handle the connection: amp into one, cabinet out of the other. The Line Out is wired for balanced or unbalanced cables, a Phase switch inverts the signal when needed, and a GND Ref switch ties the box ground to the cable ground for balanced runs.
To run an amp with no cabinet at all, look at the Reactive Load. For splitting a guitar signal before the amp, the Suhr Buffer.
