The 212ce-N Plus is a nylon-string Grand Concert with a Venetian cutaway, a solid torrefied spruce top and layered Indian rosewood back and sides. The neck joins at the 12th fret and carries a slightly wider 1-7/8" nut on the slim Taylor carve, so classical players and steel-string players both settle in quickly. Taylor's Nylon Series Bracing keeps it responsive to a light touch, and an ES-N pickup is onboard.
As a Plus model it has a gloss body, a faux pearl rosette and an AeroCase. Next to the 112ce-N, the differences are rosewood for sapele and gloss for matte. For solid back and sides on the Grand Concert body, look at the 312ce-N.
